Juan Delgadillo, Original Owner (brother of Angel) Seligman AZ Really wanted to stop by this roadside attraction in Seligman known for its burgers and shakes... but mostly for its quirky sense of humor and playful antics. Unfortunately they are temporarily closed for the season and will be reopening in the spring. Outside something caught my eye, a roadside attraction, a modified vehicle? actually an old 1936 Chevrolet that was sliced off the roof, and a Christmas tree on the back... what da?? We walked the perimeter and behind the restaurant we found Juan's Garden stuffed full of a paradise of kitschy knickknacks. There are vintage cars, a bench with a Route 66 face-in-hole photo op, hand-painted signs, a phone booth with a toilet bowl inside and a menagerie of found objects put together in interesting ways. The next time we end up cruising down Route 66 again we're making a beeline for Delgadillo's Snow Cap. Review #3705

This small restaurant is such a fun place to dine at! The place is seething with prank and satire (ie: on the menu, under burger, it says "ALl burgers are made with 1/4 pound beef patti "EVERYTHING" includes: mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup, pickles, onions, lettuce, tomato, and if you are lucky, the meat"). The vibe is so silly and fun with the cashier pulling pranks on the customers. Honestly, there wasn't anything special about the chocolate dipped vanilla soft serve that I got, but this place was really fun to check out because of the vibes.

What a fun place to stop and look around! There aren't too many places to find food, restrooms, or much of anything else on this particular stretch of Route 66. We just had the ice cream here, but in the dessert heat, boy was ice-cream a sight for sore eyes. I fell for the 'door handle on the wrong side of the door' gag. Ha! They play quite a few pranks here. There are outdoor restrooms, and some quirky stuff to take pictures of. It's definitely worth a stop if you're out traveling the 'ol Route 66.

A must stop on your Route 66 journey. This is what the road trip is about, a step back in time with good fast food and awesome service with a side of good-natured humor. We enjoyed our burger & fries, but even more enjoyed our interaction with the staff of this wonderful spot. You order inside, make sure u close the door quickly, and exit out the other side in a covered seating area. They call your name, and you grab your food at the window on the side, and if you are lucky, some more laughs. If you ask for a straw, you are going to get what you asked for Loved our stop here from the food, the facilities, and definitely the people. It's a bit of old-time flavor with a dash of good America humor. One of the highlights of our trip down Route 66.

The waitresses will play jokes on you that'll make you jump And laugh. Everywhere you look, there are some sort of joke in this crazy, quirky, outside seating restaurant! The food is pretty cheap and really delicious. I wish I lived closer to try more of what they have to offer!

Quirky little town. This was the inspiration for the movie CARS. Simple burger shack. This is a stop just to all around. Ordered the Chorizo burger. It was yummy. Has a little kick. Their milkshake choices was plenty. Caramel milshake was not too sweet but blended right. Food turnaround was slow, I mean SLOW. Took them 15 mins for the order. But the server was odd and friendly. 5 stars for ambience. 3 stars for service and food. Salsa and chips was great. Chorizo burger is different. Tasted like mix between a steak burger and a taco.

Delicious home made beef tacos with refreshingly fresh ingredients. Wonderful milk shakes and burgers too. The ambiance is old Route 66 "Cars" movie themed. Service is top notch. The owner and staff love harmless practical gags and they made my whole family laugh. All around an enjoyable experience and fantastic roadside food. Highly recommend.

Awesome retro frosty. We already had lunch but I was not going to leave town without having a milkshake from this place I heard so much about. There was a little bit of a line but most were getting milkshakes and it went pretty quick. The lady was awesome and fun she's got some gags that can catch you off guard. Milkshakes were wonderful and they have all the flavors and you can mix em too so come check them out and get a shake to go and continue on Route 66.

This place was a charming must-visit! We visited Delgadillo's when our tour stopped at Angelo's Barbershop to showcase the celebration of Route 66. We went in with the expectation of just grabbing a quick treat to cool off. And the milkshake was perfect for that - tasted great& was a generous portion worth the price. But the real value of this place comes with the decor, the kitsch, & the pure gusto and joy of the service. Along with our milkshake, we were served a practical joke & a few puns! A break from the heat with a side order of laughs! It was such a welcome touch of humanity after traveling in a tpur bus for hours. Thank you Delgadillo's!
